PwC advises CHERRY Group on the purchase of Active Key

A multidisciplinary team from PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) and PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (PwC Germany) has provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to CHERRY Group on the acquisition of Active Key GmbH & Co. KG, a leading manufacturer of hygienic, washable keyboards and mice for medical and industrial applications based in Pegnitz, Germany. With the acquisition, CHERRY Group intends to expand its product portfolio in the healthcare sector as well as to serve the increasing demand in this area.
CHERRY Group is a leading global manufacturer of computer input devices and switches for mechanical keyboards, based in Auerbach in der Oberpfalz. CHERRY Group employs about 500 employees in production facilities and subsidiaries in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, China, Austria and the USA.
