PwC Legal is part of E.ON’s newly appointed legal panel
Düsseldorf, 2nd February 2024
A team from PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) has won one of the coveted places on the newly appointed Legal Panel of the E.ON Group (E.ON). The team led by Partner Michael H. Küper, Head of Tax & Legal Energy, was particularly convincing thanks to its holistic approach, international legal network, and proven expertise in the areas of energy law and legal tech.
In total, there were eleven positions to be filled on E.ON’s new Legal Panel, with PwC Legal being part of the so-called global Full-Service Panel, distinguished by its coverage of all legal areas of business law.
We are very pleased to be able to support E.ON in the coming years, which will be characterised by a profound transformation of the energy industry, as a comprehensive legal advisor with in-depth expertise in all areas of law relevant to E.ON and in particular in the area of legal tech. With our presence in all key regions in Germany, Europe and, if necessary, worldwide, we can respond flexibly to E.ON's needs.
We are very proud that E.ON has chosen us for the global full-service panel. This is a recognition both for PwC Legal in Germany and for our international network, which is one of the largest in the world with more than 4,000 legal professionals in 100 countries.
E.ON’s headquarters are located in Essen. A total of around 74,000 employees work for E.ON and manage, among other things, an electricity and gas network of 1.6 million kilometres in length for around 48 million customers in Germany and Europe. Adjusted EBITDA of €8.1 billion was generated in 2022.
