Frankfurt, 2 June 2025

PwC Legal is delighted to announce its outstanding achievements at ALM Law.com’s 2025 European Tech & Innovation Awards, held in Milan on 28 May 2025.  The European Tech & Innovation Awards celebrate the best in legal technology, recognising law firms and in-house teams that are shaping the future of the profession.

PwC Legal was recognised across several categories, underscoring its commitment to driving innovation and excellence in the legal sector.

Regulatory tech innovation: Rule Scanner proves itself once again

PwC Legal’s Rule Scanner was honoured with the prestigious Regulatory, Governance and Compliance Technology Award in 2025 for its pioneering work in leveraging advanced digital solutions and RegTech from its alliance partner Corlytics to transform client service delivery on horizon scanning and risk mapping in the financial services and other sectors. The award recognises the firm’s innovative approach to integrating artificial intelligence and automation as well as lawyer-led, technology powered managed (legal) services into complex processes, resulting in enhanced efficiency, accuracy and client satisfaction. Rule Scanner had previously won the Disruptive Technology of the Year Award in 2024 – see here.

Leadership development: Award for training programme

PwC Legal’s Accelerate Legal Leadership: Beyond 2025 stood out by winning the Outstanding Training Innovation Award for delivery of its first cohort of executive leadership programme empowering the next generation of GCs & Global Legal Operations Leaders. The second cohort is already open for participation.

In addition to these significant wins, PwC Legal was also shortlisted in the following highly competitive categories:

  • Pioneering Business Development Innovation – for PwC Legal’s EU Regulatory Compliance Operations, Risk and Engagement (EU RegCORE) offering
  • Disruptive Technology of the Year – for its Mass Claims Machine offering

These accolades reflect PwC Legal’s ongoing investment in technology and our dedication to reimagining the future of legal services and how we deliver value for our clients with 4,000 lawyers in 100 countries. And he continues: “Following our receipt of the 2024 award for Rule Scanner we promised to deliver further AI and analytical capabilities within the tool and take our breadth of trusted managed (legal) services further as well as beyond the FS sector. I’m absolutely delighted that our efforts have been so well received in the market and following a rigorous review process led to another award in 2025. We’re looking at delivering even more innovation in 2026 and beyond!”
