A PwC’s global Legal Business Solutions team (PwC Legal) has been recognised in ALM Law.com’s 2024 legal awards with a “Disruptive Technology of the Year” accolade for the development and deployment of an innovative financial services regulatory horizon scanning tool, Rule Scanner. The award, which was accepted by members of PwC’s global banking and financial services legal team during an awards ceremony in London this month recognises PwC’s market-leading innovation across the legal industry.

Frankfurt, January 5, 2024

Developed by Dr. Michael Huertas, a PwC Legal Germany Partner and Global Financial Services Leader, and his team, Rule Scanner is a cutting-edge horizon scanning tool, designed to empower legal and compliance professionals, leveraging award-winning RegTech from Corlytics. Rule Scanner simplifies how financial services firms can track, triage and tackle regulatory developments from over 1,600 legislators, regulators and policymakers in over 170 jurisdictions, the tool, which is backed by trusted managed (legal) solutions from PwC Legal can be tailored to meet a specific organisation’s regulatory horizon scanning needs.

We are proud to have been recognised for the market innovation of our Rule Scanner tool, which we developed to solve our financial services clients’ regulatory horizon scanning problems.
