PwC Legal and PwC UK advise ROOF in its expansion to the UK

An international team from PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC UK), led by Lars Benger, provided comprehensive legal advice to ROOF, an investment of Invision, on its merger with an UK team of experienced player agents and the establishment of a joint player agency in the UK.
After opening an office in Madrid last year, with this expansion ROOF has already reached the next milestone in its aspired internationalisation and further development and intensive support of more than 150 professional footballers in Germany and abroad.
ROOF – “Representatives Of Outstanding Footballers” – is one of the largest football player agencies in European professional football. The company was formed by the merger of three leading German player agencies. The interdisciplinary team of lawyers, business economists, PR experts and former professional footballers supports more than 150 professional footballers and coaches in all major European leagues in career planning, contract negotiations and transfer handling. ROOF strives to make players and coaches better on and off the pitch and sees social responsibility as a key priority, so ROOF joined the philanthropy movement Common Goal. ROOF is by far the largest player agency in Germany in terms of market value managed and has also joined the top 5 worldwide by completing its expansion into the UK.
