PwC Legal advises ZOLAR on increase of current Series B financing round

PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) has provided ZOLAR GmbH (ZOLAR), an online distributor of solar systems, with comprehensive legal advice on the increase of the current Series B financing round by 10 million EUR. Thus, the total investment of the Series B financing round launched in 2019 has increased to 35 million EUR.
The increase of the Series B financing round was led by Energy Impact Partners. ZOLAR continues to hold on to existing Series B investors. With this new financial investment, the start-up is setting the course for its expansion into a Next Generation Green Energy Company, which focuses on sustainable energy generation and the holistic use of solar energy in private households.

The Greentech company ZOLAR enables homeowners to custom plan, compare and order photovoltaic systems online at a fixed price. The Berlin-based start-up was founded in 2016. The company aims to establish itself as the leading consumer brand in the energy industry and plans to expand its core business.
