PwC Legal advises Swietelsky AG on the acquisition of the Knäble Group

PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) has provided legal advice to Swietelsky AG, based in Linz/Austria, on the acquisition of the Knäble Group. Following approval by the German Federal Cartel Office, the transaction was completed at the end of October 2024. The acquired assets include a modern asphalt mixing plant as well as several operating properties.
Swietelsky is an internationally active construction group that covers all areas of construction such as building construction, civil engineering, road and bridge construction, railroad construction and tunnel construction. In addition to its core markets of Austria, Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic, Swietelsky is active in 17 other countries – from Australia to Great Britain.
The Knäble Group is a long-established company in the field of road and sewer construction with its headquarters in Biberach (Baden) and around 150 employees.
