PwC Legal advises GENUI on investment in ROTOP Pharmaka GmbH

PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) advised GENUI III GmbH & Co. geschl. InvKG (GENUI), among others, on an investment in ROTOP Pharmaka GmbH (ROTOP), particularly concerning legal due diligence and the structuring and negotiation of the transaction.

ROTOP Pharmaka GmbH, founded in 2000 and based in Rossendorf near Dresden, is a leading supplier of radiopharmaceutical products. ROTOP manufactures cGMP-compliant radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostics and therapy in the fields of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, distributing them in more than 40 countries worldwide. The market for radiopharmaceuticals has experienced dynamic growth in recent years, leading to significant investment in the development of new preparations by biotech and pharmaceutical companies active in this field. In response, ROTOP has expanded its CDMO range.

GENUI is a Hamburg-based investment company founded by renowned entrepreneurs and investment professionals.

In addition to GENUI, funds managed by the private equity investor SHS Gesellschaft für Beteiligungsmanagement mbH and Wachstumsfonds Mittelstand Sachsen have also invested in ROTOP Pharmaka GmbH. The aim of the growth investment is to significantly expand product capacities and meet market demand.
