PwC Legal advises Devario Invest on sale of “Headquarter” student accommodation portfolio
Frankfurt am Main, May 19th 2016
PwC Legal provided comprehensive legal advice to the private investor Devario Invest GmbH on the sale of its student accommodation portfolio “Headquarter” to the international investor Global Student Accommodation (GSA). The “Headquarter” portfolio consists of four properties in Münster, Dresden, Darmstadt and Frankfurt am Main. The total usable space amounts to roughly 36,660 square metres and comprises around 1,000 student flats.
PwC experts worked in close cooperation with PwC Legal lawyers to provide Devario Invest GmbH with comprehensive advice on tax structuring and financing issues.
Devario Invest GmbH had developed and built the properties in the four German university cities. Global Student Accommodation (GSA) is an investor with an international portfolio specialising in the acquisition, development and operation of student apartments. With the purchase of the “Headquarter” portfolio the company has expanded into the German market.
