PwC Legal advises ABG Real Estate Group on strategic partnership and minority investment in Arabesque Holding Ltd.

Berlin, 27th January 2022

A team from PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) advised the ABG Real Estate Group on the legal structuring and documentation of a strategic partnership and minority investment in the leading international technology company Arabesque Holding Ltd.

Through the strategic partnership, the two companies combine their capabilities with the aim of advancing the key future topic of ESG (ecology, social, corporate governance) in the real estate sector and creating objective criteria for sustainable investments.

ABG Real Estate Group has been present in the German real estate market for more than five decades and its focus is on large-volume projects in Germany’s top economic metropolises as well as on investment and asset management through the new ABG Capital division. The company is a signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) and a member of various initiatives such as ECORE (ESG Circle of Real Estate) and the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council).

London-based Arabesque Holding Ltd. operates internationally in the field of financial technology. In particular, Arabesque provides ESG data for the financial industry, making corporate sustainability more transparent through the use of artificial intelligence and Big Date.
