PwC advises JYSK – formerly DÄNISCHES BETTENLAGER – on restructuring

An international and multidisciplinary team from the PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal (PwC Legal) network and PwC Germany advised JYSK SE, which previously operated in Germany under the name Dänisches Bettenlager, on its restructuring.
The German JYSK Group, consisting of several companies in the Dänisches Bettenlager subdivision and several companies in the Bettenwelt division, was merged into JYSK SE, with PwC Legal advising on corporate and labor law issues. Tax law advice was provided by PwC Germany.
JYSK SE is part of the Danish JYSK Group, which is represented under this name with more than 3,000 stores in 49 countries. In total, more than 26,500 people work for the Group worldwide. In Germany, the furnishing company has more than 950 stores and around 8,000 employees.
