PwC advises Greenflash on the conclusion of a Joint Venture
Düsseldorf, 23rd January 2023.
Led by Dr. Johannes Auf dem Kampe, a multidisciplinary team from PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) and PricewaterhouseCoopers GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (PwC Germany) has provided comprehensive legal advice to Green Flash GmbH in connection with the conclusion of a joint venture agreement with DEG Nachhaltigkeits GmbH, a subsidiary of the Dachdecker-Einkauf Holding GmbH, DEH Beteiligungs GmbH and DEG Dach-Fassade Holz eG (collectively the "DEG – Companies".) In the future, the joint venture company will operate in the market under the name Greenflash Systems GmbH. The DEG – Companies are investing a total of over EUR 10 million to revolutionize solar wholesale together with Green Flash GmbH.
Greenflash, with its seat in Lingen (Ems), specializes in the implementation and planning of projects in the field of renewable energies. The company, founded in 2020, implements individual energy solutions throughout Germany and makes an important contribution in achieving the 1.5° target.
The DEG – companies are part of the ZEDACH Group, an association of around 7,000 craft businesses at over 140 locations, among others in Germany, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, Poland and Switzerland, which specialize in the distribution of roofing materials.
The future cooperation will focus on the development of a joint wholesale business for building materials and products required in the field of electric generators powered by renewable energies, the implementation of an extensive network of specialists, and the sale and development of holistic energy concepts.
