Consortium around PwC Legal to provide legal advice to European Satellite Agency GSA
Düsseldorf, March 15, 2018
PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) and its Czech Partner law firm PwC Czech Republic, as part of a consortium, won the bid to become the legal advisor for the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems Agency (GSA).
Together with German law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek and Czech law firm Kocián Šolc Balaštík (KSB), PwC Legal will provide comprehensive legal advice services to the European Satellite Agency, in particular regarding public procurement, competition law and contract management. GSA announced its decision in January. The decisive factors why GSA came out in favour of the consortium partners were their expertise and experience in the satellite, aviation and technology sectors combined with their broad positioning and wide presence.
The European Global Navigation Satellite Systems Agency (GSA) headquartered in Prague was founded by the European Union. Its main task is to develop and implement the navigation satellite programs Galileo and EGNOS.
