PwC Legal advises Hornetsecurity on the acquisition of Spamina

PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) has provided Hornetsecurity GmbH with comprehensive legal advice on the acquisition of the Spanish company Spamina. The respective legal advice also included the structuring and implementation of a capital measure, which finally was executed by Harbert European Growth Capital.
With the acquisition of Spamina as the Spanish market leader in the field of IT-Security, Hornetsecurity GmbH ensures and strengthens its competitive position in Europe. The acquired company shall also contribute to the development of new markets in the Spanish-speaking world outside of Europe. Shareholders of Hornetsecurity GmbH are, inter alia, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Verdane Capital and HCS Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH.
Hornetsecurity GmbH is one of Europe’s leading cloud security providers, with more than 200 employees in eleven different locations. The Hannover-based company develops and distributes IT security solutions for digital communication and data protection in nine redundantly secured computer centers worldwide.
Spamina is a Madrid-based global IT security company, which develops and provides secure digital communication to companies.
