PwC Legal advised Gerry Weber International AG on its acquisition of Hallhuber Beteiligungsgesellschaft GmbH

PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) has advised Gerry Weber International AG in its acquisition of all shares in Hallhuber Beteiligungsgesellschaft GmbH and its subsidiary Hallhuber GmbH. PwC Legal offered comprehensive legal advice to the acquirer in matters relating to contract negotiations, antitrust law and due diligence. The transaction is still subject to the consent of the antitrust authorities.
The acquirer, Gerry Weber International AG, is a listed fashion company with a presence in 62 countries and which generated revenue of EUR 852 million in financial year 2012/2013. Hallhuber GmbH is a fashion retailer which was founded in Munich in 1977 and which specialises in high-quality women’s fashion. It operates 200 shops in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. The seller is Doll S.à r.l., which previously held 100% of shares in Hallhuber Beteiligungsgesellschaft.
