Dr. Frederic Mirza Khanian appointed as global co-leader of PwC Legal’s International Business Reorganisations network

The Global Legal Leadership Team of the global network of accounting and advisory firm PwC has appointed Dr. Frederic Mirza Khanian as global co-leader of its International Business Reorganisations (IBR) sub-network. The appointment took effect on February 1, 2022 and is for an initial period of 2 years.
Frederic Mirza Khanian, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal Germany), holds the position jointly with Cynthia Chan, a partner in the legal practice at PwC UK. In their roles, the two succeed Richard Edmundson, managing partner at PwC network member ILC Legal, who has played a key role in building the firm’s global IBR credentials.
Frederic is 44 years old and joined PwC Legal Germany in 2018 as a partner in the Corporate/M&A practice. Prior to that, he spent more than ten years in the Corporate/M&A department of the law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He is an expert in complex cross-border transactions and most recently advised on numerous high-profile mandates and projects in major domestic and international M&A transactions and reorganization projects, including cross-border carve-out and integration projects for Bayer, adidas, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Sennheiser. He is a member of the Global Transformations Team, an initiative of PwC and PwC Legal in which experts from the areas of Tax, Legal, Valuations, Finance and Delivering Deal Value offer holistic support from a single source for cross-border reorganization projects. The German Global Transformations team is led by partner Dr. Simon Dürr, who launched this initiative in 2011 and was recently appointed IBR Leader at PwC Europe.
