Marco Garbers is a lawyer specialising in energy law. He has been advising companies in the electricity and gas industry for over twenty years on issues relating to energy regulation, contract law and renewable energies. He represents clients in arbitration and court proceedings and supports them in out-of-court dispute resolution. Marco Garbers worked in-house for the trading subsidiary of a large German energy group in Essen for over 5 years, focussing on German and European electricity and gas issues in the area of wholesale markets and energy networks. He regularly publishes in energy law commentaries and journals, including on issues relating to energy contract law, renewable energies and regulatory issues.
