Susanne Thonemann-Micker is a specialist lawyer (Fachanwältin) for tax law with approximately 20 years of specialist experience in tax and legal affairs as well as domestic and international asset and company succession planning. She is a member of the tax committee of the German Bar Association (Deutscher Anwaltverein – DAV) and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (Deutscher Industrie- und Handelskammertag – DIHK), is an advisor of the Institute for International Taxation (ifitax) and is a member of the management board of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in Germany. She regularly holds talks on topics of succession planning and publishes materials on her topic areas, including as an author of the Beck online commentary for the German Inheritance and Gift Tax (Erbschaftsteuer- und Schenkungsteuergesetz – ErbStG).
