Dr. Jörg Schwerdtfeger has been advising national and international companies in the financial sector at PwC Legal for over 25 years. In banking, insurance, and investment law, he heads as professional expert the Banking/Insurance/Payments and Corporate Treasury area. For banks, he provides legal support on product developments, restructurings, and transactions. In the insurance sector, he is involved in expansions and the establishment of EEA branches. In the area of Corporate Treasury, his key focus areas include SEPA, cash pooling, and trading. He completed a qualification as an insurance clerk at the Chamber of Commerce, studied at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, and obtained his doctorate at the Free University of Berlin.
