About me
Maxi Wilkowski has worked in the financial services sector since 2006 and leads our practice for licensing and acquisition procedures for a broad range of regulated institutions as well as applicants. She has deep expertise in regulatory processes and in engaging with national and European supervisory authorities. Her practice focuses on advising domestic and international banks, investment firms and other financial service providers, payment institutions, management companies, and private investors on all aspects of financial regulatory law and related corporate and civil law issues.
She also advises on prudential and statistical reporting, including the implementation of complex reporting frameworks and on cash pooling arrangements. In addition, her work covers governance, risk and compliance topics aligned with supervisory expectations at both European and national levels.
Ms. Wilkowski is a co‑author of several regulatory publications (including the KAGB Commentary, The Treasurer’s Handbook, and Banking Business in Germany) and is a regular speaker at industry conferences and seminars.
