PwC Legal named "Germany Firm of the Year" at the Women in Business Law Awards EMEA 2026

PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft ("PwC Legal") has been named "Germany Firm of the Year" at the Women in Business Law Awards EMEA 2026. The ceremony took place in London on 25 June 2026. The awards are hosted by the Legal Benchmarking Group in partnership with industry publication The Lawyer.
This accolade honours law firms in the EMEA region that have developed initiatives and projects to advance gender diversity and to support the professional development of female lawyers in business law. The judging panel assesses both established practitioners and up-and-coming female lawyers, as well as firm-wide programmes designed to nurture female talent.
This recognition affirms the effectiveness of PwC Legal's internal frameworks for developing and retaining female lawyers, and raises the visibility of these efforts beyond the firm itself.
Award methodology
The assessment is based on a multi-stage process conducted by the Legal Benchmarking Group. A dedicated research team carries out in-person and telephone peer-review interviews with female lawyers across a range of practice areas and jurisdictions in order to verify the information submitted. These findings are complemented by research drawn from other Legal Benchmarking Group brands. This year, the awards were presented in partnership with The Lawyer for the first time.
