PwC Legal advises on the sale of KÜBLER Workwear to U-Power

A team from PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal AG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft (PwC Legal) provided comprehensive legal advice to the shareholder of Paul H. Kübler Bekleidungswerk GmbH & Co. KG (KÜBLER Workwear) in connection with the sale of the long-established family-owned business to the Italian company U-Power Group S.p.A. (U-Power).

For more than 70 years, KÜBLER Workwear has been developing high-quality workwear, protective clothing, and corporate wear for professional users and is one of the established workwear specialists, particularly in German-speaking countries. The company, headquartered in Plüderhausen (near Stuttgart), is known for its high level of product and development expertise, functional design, and long-standing partnerships with specialty retailers and industry.

U-Power was founded in 2006, is headquartered in Paruzzaro (Italy), and is a European market leader in the field of safety work footwear; the company is also active in the workwear sector. The group operates the U-Power, Jallatte, and Aimont brands and supplies its products to more than 10,000 specialty retailers in over 50 countries.

U-Power and KÜBLER Workwear will retain their respective strengths while consistently capitalizing on the opportunities created by the merger. The goal is a long-term growth strategy and an even stronger position in the European market for workwear, safety footwear, and personal protective equipment.

PwC Legal advised on the legal structuring leading up to the sale, due diligence, and the drafting and negotiation of the purchase agreement. The transaction is subject to the usual regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027.
